How Much Is Daycare?

Hi Moms! I was wondering if you all could give me an idea of what childcare costs. I have a 4 year old and a 22month old and I may have to return to work. So I'm trying to figure out if I would make enough to cover the cost of childcare and help with the bills. Thanks so much and God Bless you all! :-)

What can I do next?

Hi A.. My name is T. and I am looking to fill 2 spots for my in home day care. My charge is cheaper than most. I understand how hard it is to pay day care and still bring home enough money. If you are interested in talking to me you can call me at ###-###-####. Thanks and good luck!!

Hi A.,
I have 2 kids in Campfire of Texas Child Development program (excellent Daycare) and am paying $368.80 a week. They offer a 10% discount for the second child. Please let me know if you want more information about their program or a good contact. Also, if you are shopping for daycare, you should use the website below (chick search for daycare) to check Credentials, Accreditation, Licensing and the outcome of any Inspections and Reports.

Hi A.,
My daughter is in a GREAT school and it runs us $670 a month ($167.50 a week). But that is for a child 3 and up. The infants run $945 a month (until they are 1, I believe), and the price declines as they get older. Unfortunately some schools do not offer a multi-child discount so that's a good thing to ask when calling centers. Personally I would always opt for a center rather than a home daycare. Much more accountability with centers. Good luck in your search and don't be afraid to drill them with questions. A good center will always welcome them. I went in with a laundry list and they answered everything with flying colors! And their actions (and my daughter's behavior/skills) have backed it up.

Hi
Daycare will probably run about $275-375 a week. So if you can find a good home daycare, they are less. There is a program called CCMS or CCAS and they will help with daycare if your income is in there range.

My son is 19 months old and is daycare is $160 a week.

Have you considered an au pair? They live in your home, and provide 45 hours of childcare each week- for about $270/week. I would be happy to provide more info if you have questions!
