My husband and I are looking for a housekeeper to come and clean up about once a week. What is the going rate for housekeepers and what chores does she do for that price? Thanks.
$90 for every other week. She does all cleaning (mopping, dusting, vaccuming) and washes and changes the sheets/towels/bath rugs. She dusts the blinds, scrubs the showers.... hope this helps.

I have my housekeeper come once a week and she does all the heavy cleaning for $80.00 for a one story three bedroom and two bath house (approx 2200 square feet). She mops, sweeps, vacuums, does the dishes, cleans the kitchen, scrubs the baths and shower, dusts, and puts away the toys.
I would totally recommend her to anyone, I know she is looking for more work.
