How Many of You Read the Mommy Blogs?

I only read the Mamapedia blog topics like once every few weeks. How about all of you? I prefer to get right to the Q & A and rarely notice that the site even has the blogs.

What can I do next?

Not much.
I don't have the patience to read those.
I am the type that jumps around as I read.
Skimming.
then on to other things.

I don't get into blogs much.
Just Q&A

What? There's blogs on here? I seriously have been on here since it was mamasource and I don't even know where to FIND the blogs! Although I just started blogging myself a couple months ago. Hhhhmmm...I'll have to look around on here and see if I can find them!

I think I've read only 3 or 4 of the blogs since they started being posted. They take more time to read than I'm willing to devote, since I only intend to quickly scroll through the Q&A's and read those that capture my interest, if any.

I read some of the blogs - depending on the topic - and I blog myself...
My blog is about my life -- not about motherhood, per se... I write about what is going on here at home. The original reason I started blogging was that I didn't want to write a Christmas letter. :-)

Right now, I'm blogging about our pool construction project.

I have read a dozen or so.....and even left comments as I am so used to doing here....but the comment showed up on my FB account which I rarely go to, but so many others noticed my comments...so now I know to disengage the FB icon...live and learn.

There are truly some gifted writers who have fascinating takes on motherhood....some not so. One blog was about a FT working mom who pumped milk in bizarre places while traveling, like closets...and I was so saddened by the story...she wrote it to be funny....but I did not see the humor in a new mommy traveling away from her baby and pumping in filthy setting to appease American corporate greed. What is happening to our society that mom's can't stay home the first year of an infant's life, like almost all other European countries? We have got to start prioritizing our families and little ones over work the important first few years.
