Ok, I will try and make a longish story short. I had a m/c in Nov , the pregnancy was not planned and my DH swore no more babies. BUT then he turned around and did not use his normal procautions once this month, every time we have gotten in pregnant it was in the first time. So obviously we are very fertile together, and my cycles are pretty short so the days on which I can get pregnant within a cycle are most of them.... anyway I was supposed to start yesterday and I didn't but am afraid to test b/c I don't want to have to face the fears of losing another one.... BUT i have to know by tomorrow as we have big plans for NYE. Would you test or give it a couple more days and just not drink without knowing...?
(Oh and I am kind of a pee on a stickaholic)
I personally would test... I NEED all the information asap. Lol. I stock up on Dollar Tree tests so I can test as often as I'd like.
As for the drinking, I'd never recommend drinking during pregnancy, but I will say that IF you are pregnant, baby would be living off a yolk sac still, not your blood. So, there is no way for the alcohol to get to a baby.
test so you won't fret over it.
I would test in the morning and if it's negative go have a good time. Just don't get too tossed. :)
I would test in the morning. If you are already even a day late it would most likely pick it up. If its negative then you can go have a good NYE!
I would test tomorrow morning -- first morning urine. I did that before a big event as well. If you were due to start already, it might come back positive already (mine will actually come back positive 2 days BEFORE my period if I am pregnant but I have 28-29 day cycles). If not, and it comes back later as positive, don't worry about the drinking. At this stage, the egg is just implanted, the placenta is not functioning and so nothing is crossing over to the baby -- not ever good to drink while pregnant, but at that stage, not worth guilt over either :)
