Everytime I see somebody with bleached hair I keep trying to bleach my hair down. I,ve seen people with black hair bleach to blonde but how did they get that? Without red orange or yellow looking hair?

What can I do next?

They go to a professional. They have the ability (and chemicals) to completely strip the color out of your hair.

I agree with the others, you need to go to a proffecional, how ever I would suggest to look for somebody that you know has done it and has done it right.
Also, it most likely will damage your hair. I went from black to blonde and my hair was so damage, I think another alternative but cost more and take more time is to highligh it down.
I mean, first put some brown highlights, then another time highlight the darker hair one tone lighter then the first highlights, then another time highlight the second highlights even more light and so on.
that way it will also help you to check what color you like without compromising all your hair.
Just a thought.

Yep, you have to go to a professional. My hair is super stubborn, it doesn't take to store bought kits off the shelf at Target. I sported a platinum blonde last summer and loved it, but just know that when you have darker hair, it's hard to keep it "white", it eventually will turn yellow or orange on its own. Plus, the roots are NASTY to keep up, be prepared for the salon pricetag every few weeks to fix them. Another thing too, when you decide your done, you'll need to go back to the salon to have them blend that color back in with a more natural hair color. It's definitely a fun color, but definitely a high maintenance color to keep up looking good. It also dries out your hair horribly so be prepared to spend money on pricey conditioning treatments too.

go to the beauty supply. they have helpful, knowledagble people. They make products that take the red out, anti brass, anti yellow, etc. Some youmix into the color you are are about to put on your hair and some sold a as a seprate application.

proffesional. I ended up with orange hair one time...not I go to my beautician and have lots and lots of highlights!

I agree with going to a professional. They have the stuff to take the natural red tones out.
When I bleached my hair (forever ago) I bleached then dyed it a blonde to get the platnium look. I'm not gonna lie...it was orangish for a day, I just kept going lighter then dyed it.
Good Luck.
