How Do I Get Lipstick Out of Clothes and What's a Good Plug in Air/room Freshner
My little girl found lipstick in my purse--and it ended up all over her shorts!! Can I just throw it in the machine or do I need to pretreat the lipstick mess, and with what(shout, detergent, baking soda, etc?)
Also, I live in an older home,it's about 30+yrs,and having hard time keeping it smelling fresh..I use carpet powder when I vaccuum and light candles..With both it's either to strong or not lasting..And with mommy brains,I do not light the candles often in fear that I will leave the candle lit when I leave or when we take naps. Does anyone have any suggestions for plug in air/room freshners that works and that are light in smell and not so overpowering. I've used stick-ums and it just freshened the small space it was in if that.
thanks so much!!!

My favorite air freshner is the White Barn Candle Wall Flowers. They have the same scents as the Bath and Body work bath products. They really do make the room smell really good and they usually last a couple of months. They have specials all the time on the refills and the wall units. I have used the Glade plug ins and the one with the fan, and I have used the wizard plug in and they just don't compare to the Wall Flowers plus they have a much larger selection of scents.

Add a little dishsoap to your load of laundry and that almost always works, my 3 yr old son gets into my lipstick weekly. I also would suggest febreze scent stories it works wonders and keeps the house smelling fresh not perfumed.

Oxy Clean gets everything out...even nail polish.
I buy the powder and soak it over night. Bingo, it's out!

For all of 99 Cents you can get a 16 or 20 oz. bottle of a product called AWESOME. It can be bought in Lewisville or Irving at the 99 Cent Store. The one in Lewisville is by the Target store on Interstate 35 and the one in Irving is on Beltline by the WingStop.
You can also purchase it at many of the 99 cent or 1.00 stores you see around town.
It will leave your clothes spotless. It will remove the color instantly.
I use it to clean my carpets, animal urine stains, even removes mustard off of clothing and magic permanent marker stains.
Hope this helps you.
God Bless.

I know someone has already recommended Zout to you but I wanted to share my testimony! I washed and dried a huge load of jeans and there was red stuff everywhere, but no evidence of what it was! I sprayed every spot with goo be gone on one pair and it did nothing. The clothes sat around over a week. I was at Kroger buying some Shout which is amazing on everything else, and saw Zout! I sprayed it on every red mark on a pair of jeans let it sit and washed them. The set in stains disappeared. I was speechless! It even gets out chocolate! My daughter has been having frequent nose bleeds and it gets rid of every trace of the dried in blood! I recommend everyone buy a bottle and keep it in the laundry room!

I use an awesome spot remover called Pre-spot. It has gotten everything out that I've ever tried using it on. You might also try something called Solumel. I've used this on clothing and on carpet. Contact me & I'll be happy to tell you where I shop. :)

For lipstick I use eye makeup remover. Either Mary Kay or Clinique.
For keeping my house smelling good with 2 kids and 3 animals I use the Yankee Canlde plug-ins. I have also found this Febreeze in an aerosol can in the Mint Refresh. I go through about a can a month, but the Mint has a cooling and refreshing smell. I often run the vacuum and then spray the Mint spray when my family and neighbors are coming over and I have not had time to clean really good and they think that I have spent a week cleaning my house from top to bottom. I have only told a couple of people my little trick with that, so try it and let me know what you think!

Well as far as stains there is a product I love.
Its is by Spray n Wash Dual action w/ Oxi and Stain lifter.
It is awesome I have 2 toddlers and it has taken everything out !!! We went to DQ for ice cream and the DQ lady spilled chocolate over my daughter as she was handing it to me. It was the choclate that turns hard. It was all over her shirt and of course was rubbed in since we tried to get as much off so she wouldn't get it everywhere. I used this stuff and it took most of it out, I didn't dry it and used it again and the rest came out. It has taken blood out in 1 wash, spagetti, you name it. I go through 1 a week with 2 toddlers.
