How Do I Deal with a 6 Month Old at a Braves Game?

I have a six month old girl and we have tickets to take my 12 and 14 year old boys to a Braves game on Sunday. We also have to go the Apple Store to exchange my computer. How do I deal with naps while we're at the game? Will they let me bring a stroller? I'm not quite sure how to juggle the baby. Any advice?

What can I do next?

Wow, who knew how divisive taking a baby to a Braves game could be? I've asked my mother to keep the baby. She's a very good baby and would probably do OK but my boys would have more fun if our attention wasn't constantly fixed on the baby. Thanks for everyone's advice!

My advice is to leave the baby at home! She will be miserable in the hot sun and then so will you. If there is anyway to avoid it, I'd not put her, my family or myself through a probable not so pleasant time.

Have you ever tried to use a sling? They work wonders and baby can feed and nap whenever they feel the need.

why not leave her with someone so that the boys can really enjoy the game, as well as YOU enjoying the game. there's not much you can do since she's not interested in the game, huh? Do the little lady a favor and not take her to the game. The entire family just might appreciate that!

GET A BABY SITTER! Your 6 month old will not enjoy the game, and your enjoyment will be less. That is a long time to expect your child to just sit there. I am very against parents who take babies to sporting events. Too Loud. Can be too inappropriate. If your child acts up you could also lessen others enjoyment. When I grew up, even though I wanted to go to football games with my Mom, she never took me until I was capable of sitting and understanding the game. Leave the baby at home!

This season, we took our easygoing son to a Braves game when he was a few months old. It was not good....way, way too noisy and stimulating for a baby. He was not happy and I didn't watch the game, but spent the entire time walking around with him in the baby bjorn, trying to get away from noise and crowds (not easy.)

The outcome of the experience depends on your daughter. If sheis usually very fussy or unmanageable when you all are out then maybe you can find a sitter. And if not you could also use a front baby carrier to hold her in.Sometimes babies can tolerate alot more than you think they can so she may do just fine. But I say base it on how she acts on other outings.

I always loved to hold my babies with the baby carrier. They have snuggli's and other brand names. Some of my friends loved their slings. But that was always how we could hold the baby arm free and they would fall asleep there too.
Just a thought.

My advice would be if possible get a babysitter for your 6 month old. It will make for a more pleasent day plus make your boys feel they have some "special" time with mom and dad.
