Congrats on the twins! Are they boys? There are lots of options for making money from home. Not to diss anyone, but all the replies you've gotten ask for money up front. I don't know about you, but I don't like to pay. I heard on Good morning american about some legit work-at-home jobs. The companies said their goal is to hire more than 20k SAH moms and dads to work from home! They see the need for us to make some extra money. I went to these websites and it should be easy to get in after you pass their application process. I didn't make it though! Oh well, if you don't make it you have to wait 3-6 months to reaply! The names of the companies are alpine access and I can't remember the rest. You can go to abcnews.com and click on GMA, and then search stay-at-home or work from home, and you can read the story! They also have other tips for looking for work at home jobs.
I myself stay at home and I am a mystery shoper for speedmark. I also take surveys; mypoints.com; ebates.com; mysurveys.com; tutor.com; virtualofficeassistant.com and more. And don't think you have to pay to get a whole list of different website companies! You don't I even do surveys for jd power and associates, microsoft, and yahoo!

I have twins as well! Wow, what fun are they, huh?! My girls are 4 yrs old and I am having a blast staying home w/ them. Cherish everyday because believe me w/ twins you are so incredibly busy it goes by really fast. I cant believe I only have nine months until they start Kindergarten!
Anyhow I dont want to try and sway you one way or the other because I know that you have to do what is easiest for you...but I am an independent designer for Home and Garden Party. I get to have parties with some great women and actually get paid for it. Home and Garden was actually started right here in TX. They have beautiful home accessories, potery and much more. I make my own hours and get to spend as much time with my family as I choose. I absolutely love it! Not to mention the great commission I receive to help support my family. HGP has one of the highest commissions in the home based business area...at 40%! Try to find a local business needing data entry or something.. don't do the Melalueca stuff or avon or mary kay.. I didn't know enough people and lost money, time and it was simple just a scam.

My husband and I have a business as distributors of MonaVie.. it's an absolutely AMAZING antioxidant superfood drink that is selling like crazy. It's everywhere in California and Texas is starting to catch on, so we're busy carving out a piece of the market here for ourselves. Anyway, it really sells itself and there is a lot of money to be made in it if you put some effort into showing people. You do it from home and all you have to do is show a couple of people a day at the most. We started making pretty decent money after only 2 weeks. How about in-home daycare?
Rates are different everywhere, but just to give an idea..I live in a very low income area and for one full time child, the going rate is about $400/month.
And if the idea of another child all day overwhelms you, what about after school care? You could take 4 school-aged children for 2 hours a day for about the same rate.
It sounds overwhelming to have to share your time with other children, but if you think about it, the alternative is going to work and not being with your twins at all. And they'd probably be sharing the time of the adult(s) watching them with even more children.
I'm planning to start an overnight daycare once I finish this school year.
I have a solution. No paper and no product, but it depends on the area of Texas you are in. Very duplicatable and teachable.
