Hotels on San Antonio River Walk/Sea World

Know any good and reasonably priced hotels in walking distance on or near the River Walk in San Antonio? Something kid friendly with free breakfast and coffee. Would want it to be close to the main attractions on the River Walk. Don't want to cross main highways and streets to get there. Something close to the mall would be a bonus.
Also, any suggestions for a hotel near Sea World?
If you have done this with a toddler let me know any hints of where to go or not go.

Thank you,
T.

The Holiday Inn on the Riverwalk is a great hotel! We stayed there a couple years ago when we drove to San Antonio for our team building at Sea World. Great rooms, no complaints from any of us! I think we paid $99 per room.

Marriott Rivercenter is GREAT and right on the river. I don't know if they do free breakfast. Drury Inn & Suites will do free breakfast and the suite is a must have when travelling with children. We've stayed at Drury a few times (though not the river walk one) and really like them. You'll have a living area to go to after the kid(s) go to sleep.
Regardless of the extra space, be sure to ask for a refrigerator in the room. When we travel with our kiddos we stock the mini-fridge with juice boxes, milk, snacks, etc. It's half the fun of their vacation experience!

Most of the decent hotels on the river are within $20/night of each other (at least they were when I was looking at the end of last year).
There's also a Holiday Inn. You can Google for "San Antonio River Walk Hotels" and compare prices/amenities.

Hi T.,

We always stay at The Emily Morgan hotel in SA. It is right next to the Alamo and the Mall, a throws distance to the Riverwalk, but not actally on the water. I've always found it to be the best for the money. It used to be an independent hotel but was bought by the Ramada, so it's still not expensive, but nice. THE ONLY thing I don't like about it is that the elevator is tiny.

Hope that helps,

A.

La Quinta Inn and Suites at the Convention Center is very close. It has a free breakfast and is recently remodeled. It is not right on the water, but is a couple blocks away.
