Home Owner's Insurance
Hi. I need to find a resonable Home Owner's Ins. because when we paid off our home here through our sales up North my husband didn't bother to apply for the insurance. I wasn't even aware that we didn';t have any. I would like to look into a Reverse Mortage for some added income but you must have Home Ins. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We had good luck with Amica Ins. Their rates were very competitive - five yrs ago at least. I don't know what the rates are like now, post hurricanes, or whether they are writing new policies, but they seem to be a very stable company from our experience.

C.,
Our homeowners insurance is thru Bouchard Insurance Agency in Clearwater. They matched me up with a great company at a good rate. ###-###-####.
I am a member of the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce and this woman specializes in Reverse Mortgages. Besides that she is a very knowlegable and sweet lady. I copied her listing from the Chamber of Commerce web site. Good Luck!
