I have nothing but the highest praise for Susan Scott Gill of Blessed Beginnings. She is a LMW with tons of experience and a truly caring connection with the families she helps. She was the back-up midwife for my last home birth. You can check the website www.blessedbeginnings.net

Also, BJ Snell, CNM, Ph.D will do homebirths if you are truly low-risk. Otherwise, she just opened a birth center in Laguna Woods with great birth tubs.

BJ Snell of Beach Cities Midwifery and Women's Health Care delivered my first born and I plan on using her for my second. She is AWESOME and I know of other moms who have used her. I think she has 20+ years of experience and teaches midwifery at local universities. You should definitley check her out.
