Holistic Pediatrician?? Need Immunization Help!

Hi all, does anyone know of a holistic pediatrician? I am fairly happy with my current pediatrician, but have had some concerns over the brands of vaccines used by the office; I have done my research and requested brands that are deemed to be "safer" (less hazardous chemical profile), but my pediatrician is part of the UM system and they all order the same standard brands and don't deviate. I am currently searching for a practitioner that orders vaccines from different companies and is supportive of alternative vaccination schedules. Any recommendations?

I know of two good pediatrician groups that will do an alternative schedule, but they are in Dearborn. The first is Dr. R. Levy on Monroe St. and the second is DR. V. Perlman on Pelham St. I don't know what brands they use,and they aren't holistic. Good luck

My friend referred me to Dr. Syed after being frustrated with my regular medical doctor. They practice both regular and holistic medicine. She will gear towards what you seek. My son is not being immunized but she will work an alternative schedule of you. She really takes time to talk to you with each visit. My son has reflux and was on many medications that were not helping. As soon as he started a holistic one he improved immediately! It's so wonderful. They have two locations, one in West Bloomfield and one in Novi. Dr. Syed works at both locations different days. Hope this helps!

There is a lecture on vaccinations in Westland, Michigan on September 13th. I'm sure you can learn a lot more on vaccines and potentially find a holistic pediatrician.
