Holistic Health
Does anyone know where I can find an alternative to doctors and the medicine they prescribe? Like a Holistic or Natural Health Practice??? Where things like meditation, stress release, etc. is taught? Who can provide me with what I need to provide a healthy diet for my child and myself?

My family doc in Mt. Airy has some knowledge of holistic health and he takes insurance. He also works with an acupuncturist. His name is Dr. Joseph Price at 514 E. Sedgwick St.,###-###-####. He is an MD, but he can most likely point you in the right direction. For acupuncture needs, I used someone in Philadelphia named Krista Coombs. If you are interested, email me privately. There is a good chiropractor named Dr. Gino Curcuruto in Sewell, NJ that does a sliding scale fee (or pay as you can) at ###-###-####. He might be able to point you to the right holistic doctor too. Good luck.
Y.

Dr. Joseph Price sounds like he would fit the bill, and he's right there in your neighborhood! Check him out at: www.partnersinwellness.us Hope that helps!

I know of an OB/GYN with a practice like this. Her name is Wendy Warner. She's at a place called Medicine in Balance in Oxford Valley. They have other practioners there that offer a variety of treatments like biofeedback (to minimize stress). They don't treat children though but can probably refer you to a place that does.
