Holiday Events in McKinney, Allen, Frisco, Plano, Etc.
Does anyone know of any holiday events happening in the area? My brother went to the Gaylord Resort in Grapevine, but their tickets are $20 per person & $63 for the ice event. I need events that are more reasonably priced (or free). Thanks for your help!

Start your Christmas season with Christmas Journey in McKinney. It's a drive through live presentation (they give you a CD for you to play in your car while you drive through). It presents the entire life of Christ. Four nights this week only: December 5th-8th (6pm-9pm) By Towne Lake, drive by the high school on Graves to Rockhill Road entrance to 1st Baptist McKinney. BTW, its free.

Check out the lights in Eldorado in McKinney. West side of Eldorado and 75. Each street is done by themes & it is always great. This year, my family is going to drive through the First Baptist McKinney (Virginia and 75), Christmas Drive through nativity scence. It is free and you tune your radio to hear the story. Get there early because it will be packed. The people directing traffic are even in full Roman soldier costumes. It looks really neat.

I don't know cost, but the neighborhood in Plano called Deerfield always has beautiful decorations and you can take a horse drawn carriage through it. Also check out Willowbend mall. Last year they had a giant snowglobe you can walk into. Northpark always has a great exhibit of trains at Christmas that your kids would love.
I'll be watching to see what others say- I'm always looking for cheap or free stuff to do with the kiddos.
