Holiday Baking Recipes
OK ladies, it is the holiday season and it is time for me to start baking. I am looking for some new recipes this year. Everyone has seen my good stuff at all the cookie exchanges. Traditionally I make fudge (and lots of it), peppermint bark, tiger butter and if I have time, peanut butter cookies with reeses cups in them. Also, if you have a hot chocolate powder recipe I would love to have it! Here is my holiday family secret recipe for FUDGE: Follow the fantasy fudge recipe on the back of the marshmellow fluff jar! Works every time and everyone LOVES it! Thanks mamas and Happy Holidays!

Pecan Frosties
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Topping:
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sour cream
Blend these!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and blend well. Blend in vanilla. Stir in flour, soda and salt. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Make a hole in each with thumb or spoon and mash it out a bit. Put 1 teaspoon of filling in holes. Bake 12-14 minutes until light brown around the edges.
These are great!
Next is an easy recipe for breakfast when the family is all together and running around or to take to a breakfast/brunch party! They can be microwaved a few seconds and are still good!
Egg muffins
ham chopped
bell pepper chopped (green or colored or both)
shredded chedder cheese
shredded mozzerella cheese
beaten eggs
salt
pepper
Combine and drop into mini muffin tins that have been sprayed with Pam! Bake until eggs are firm! This recipe can easily be changed to your taste but is super easy!
Hope you enjoy these recipes!
Merry Christmas everyone!
