As a rule, you don't mess around with eyes.
Why are you wasting time posting this when you could be going to Urgent Care or the ER?

Definitely get it checked out and right away. Eye conditions can go ugly really quickly. Check that eye frequently to see if there are any floaters. If you see those, go to the ER. You may have a retinal detachment. I had a detachment years ago and didn't know it and almost went 100% blind in one eye from it. The earlier problems are found, the better.

I'd get it checked bc of the brown color in there, I know nothing about eye injuries, but that would send me to the doc! Hope all is well, my hubby got chemical in his eye and it could have been horrible but we got him to an opthamologist, got some drops and a week later he was good to go. Better safe than sorry.

Sounds like she clocked you... I would get it checked out, it's the brown part that has me concerned.

Hope everything is okay- keep us posted!

I would put some ice on it. Personally if it was my eye and it didn't hurt bad, I'd keep the ice on it and monitor it.

I would stop in to the local urgent care clinic to be examined.

Here's the thing: Eyes aren't something to screw around with. A detached retina....too late, my friend. Also, it's important to determine that your eye socket and cheek bones are not fractured.
