High School in Farmers Branch

The only High School that I am aware of is RL Turner which is off of Josey Lane near Beltline which was pretty rough back when I went to school and I believe it still is. I went to Newman Smith a long time ago and it wasn't that bad then and I believe it has gotten better in some areas but It also depends who your child hangs out and who he is influenced by and what crowd he is involved with just like any other school. Please let me know what area you are looking at?

There are several options in the Carrollton area.

Try to stay away from R.L. Turner and Newman Smith. There is Creekview H.S which is on Old Denton in between Frankford and Rosemede. There is also Hebron H.S which is in Carrollton but it's apart of the Lewisville Independant School District you may not be able to transfer in. But R.L Turner is a real rough school.

If your at sahm why not homeschool. He would learn a whole lot more from you and get a better education in the long run.

Neither one. Try for Lewisville ISD or Flower Mound

Try looking up schools on greatschools.net It has information on test scores, etc. Parents have the ability to rate the schools on there too.
