That is such a great lullaby- I see everyone has already answered the lyrics.
I just wanted to tell you my son got a book for his birthday this weekend- it's Elmo's Good Night Stories (or something like that) and it plays that song.
He loves it and insisted on sleeping with the book last night- your daughter might like it too!

My kids like it when I make up lyrics, but I know that there are websites out there that'll give you song lyrics.
One of my kids current favorites is a song I made up to the the tune of "La Cucaracha" (that Mexican cockroach song):
My name is Matty, I am a cutie, watch me do a little dance (hey, hey)

Now everybody sings this song at home! Have fun with the songs if you don't know the words, the kids will probably remember this more.

Haha, I can relate. I butcher the words to lullabies, and most of the time I make up the words.

I had no idea there were "real" words! LOL. We always sing:

I think you mean the Brahms Lullaby. The original lyrics are in german,(since Brahms spoke German) and there are many many English versions. Just google Brahms Lullaby +lyrics and see which version you like.
