I am 5'8", but am all legs and need a good 36 inch inseam in order to be able to wear heels with my pants. I have ONE pair of jeans that I can do with this and they are Big Star and are $119 a pair. I would love a few more pair of jeans, but not at that price. Where do you long legged Mama's find jeans? I bought a pair from AE a size 4 long and they are the right length to wear with flats, but not even close to heels.

Help please!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

We don't have a GAP where I am at and I need a size 2 from there. They do not sell size 2 long in the store apparently. :(

I have a 37" inseam in flats so I get the pain!! I get all my jeans at the Buckle...they have a BKE brand (their brand) that has inseams up to a 38". I also have a few pairs of Miss Me and Big Star that long enough. The BKE start at $80, but they have sales on that brand a lot more than Miss Me or Big Star. You can order them online and have them shipped to you as well, good luck!

Seven for all mankind....They are the only jeans that fit me right.

I am six foot and some inches tall and a size two....They are the only ones who make jeans that fit string beans comfortably without looking giant.

Brand new you are looking at paying a pretty penny for them.

At Nordstroms Rack they go for about $100.

you can find them at consignment shops though all over the place and they normally only tip about $50 give or take.

I hate Pant shopping......It is the most painful thing ever!

My sister always finds them for me. She just got me a pair for Christmas.

Go to the this link (JcPenney) They have talls & ultra talls. I prefer the ultra talls so that I can wear heels.

Im fat and tall with an inseam that goes all the way. I have to have mine tailored usually and specially ordered. I HAVE to pay a 100$ or more. Since your small waisted I would try a few off brands. I found that where they are made sometimes influences the length. NOT sure why this happens but anytime they are made in Vietnam, India, or Indonesia they are too short for me. China, Malaysia, Thailand, Phillipines, states the fit as the sizes suggest. Whats up with that?
might have to look at special orders.

I use Romans, Torrid, and Avenue

I have the same problem and I refuse to spend more than $100 on jeans. The only brand I can get to work is Gap jeans in the long length ($60ish a pair). With those I can roll them once or twice to wear with flats or I can wear them with 3" or 4" heels with no problem.

I have a 36" inseam as well (but I'm a size 10). In order to wear heels, I need an inseam more like 38". I've never found a better pair of jeans than Citizens of Humanity. I buy them at Nordstrom. Yeah, they're pricey, but they fit and last forever. I have a few pairs of Seven for all Mankind jeans, but I don't love them, as they tend to be a lower rise jean, and I hate showing butt crack when I sit down! LOL

Otherwise, you can order online via Old Navy, Gap, and Banana Republic (all the same company). They have 2 different sizes of lengths - tall and long - one is 34" and the other is 36" I believe. The other thing I was going to suggest was longtallsally.com. It's a website full of tall sizes for women! They have not only jeans, but long-sleeved shirts and jackets for us tall ladies! Since you are a smaller size, you may also check out Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft online. They carry long inseams, but I find that their clothing is cut better for smaller sizes, so their stuff doesn't work all that well for me personally. But being a size 4, it may work well for you. Good luck!

I was going to suggest Lucky Brand or Miss Me-but they are 100$-I love them! Try going to Longtallsally.com It's been forever since I've been there but they make clothes just for tall women.
I have bought tall pants from The Gap and Old Navy and they are worthless. Old Navy is never long enough and neither is the gap-they make the inseams there at 33-34inches and then they shrink a bit. Lucky's tall run about 36-38 inches so I can wear a substantial heel.
You can also try sewing lace or a wide ribbon on the hem of your pants to give a little extra length.

One of my girlfriends is all legs, she buys either Lucky Brand or gets the Target Long... they're never with the other jeans on hangers, they're the one's on the wall.

I wish I had that problem! I'm 5 ft 2 in and have to roll damn near everything!

TheGap.com has specialty sizing, as does Banana Republic (and their website). I need a 34" inseam and get the Long length pants from New York & Co, and they are long on me (I am 5'10")

Old Navy has Long = 34" and Tall = 36". You can order online and return to the store. Gap is the same.

am about 4 inches shorter then you, but still have the same problem. I have looong legs. (stupidly long) I LOVE Levis! They sell long all the way down to size 0, thank goodness. In my opinion, they are a much longer long, then anything else I've tried. I get my Levis from Kohls, but I think they are in pretty much any department store.

Do Bennatons (sp) still exist. My friend always got all her pants there because she was all leg. Now that she stopped wearing heels she can shop alother places. They are expensive, but she didn't mind because she liked having pants that fit well..

Land's End and L.L. Bean (both catalog companies) will hem any inseam you want. They're also not ridiculously priced (though not cheap either) and their clothes have a lifetime guarantee (last time I checked). I have a problem because petites are about an inch too short and regular clothes tend to be about three inches too long. Good luck!
