Help with Diaper Rash
i have two boys in diapers. they both react badly when i put diaper ointment on them. is it possible that it could be hurting them? i have tried several different brands. i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, also looking for any advice on the subject. thanks!!~J.~

Boudreaux's Buttpaste. I used to have the same problem with my oldest son and it worked wonders and FAST! I think you can get it online at www.buttpaste.com.

Boudaroux's Butt Paste is what always worked for the occassional diaper rash for us.
If nothing seemed to clear it up, it was usually a yeast infection (usually after using antibiotics or strangely after swimming recently in a chlorine pool???) Then we had to use Lotrimin AF.
I have two boys, almost 4 and 6 mos.

I had the same problem with my little girl. She has very sensitive skin and her Pediatrician told us to try Beadroux Butt Paste. It was the best thing, and the only thing that we use. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, babysrus/toysrus...pretty much any grocery store.
Everything else we tried would make my little one cry but the butt paste wouldn't. Give it a try. You can get smaller "samples" at Wal-Mart in the baby/diaper section. Hope this helps.

I know this is gonna sound strange go buy a cast iron skillet and plain white flour. Brown the flour in the skillet let it cool off on a plate then everytime you change them just sprinkle a little on and in a couple days it will be cleared! you can store the browned flour in ziploc bags or if you have old empty spices bottles clean them and you can use those as a shaker is what I do! The flour is the only thing I can use on my daughter because she is highly allergic to all the other stuff!

I have a 3 year old and his pediatrician recommended Dr. Smiths. It is a white jar with blue writing on it. I would put it on and the next day the diaper rash would be gone. I had tried other brands and nothing ever worked. This is the only brand for us.

Boudreax's Butt Paste. My son had a very bad diaper rash, and I was using Desitin for days with hardly any result. I used Boudreax's for only 4 diaper changes, and it was almost cleared up---that stuff is a miracle!! another thing I did was put on corn starched based baby powder after his bath-- DO NOT use talcum based baby powder!! It has been linked to lung problems in infants. and I only use the baby powder during the rash...Good Luck!!!

The best thing for diaper rash is Caldesine Powder. You'll probably have to have your pharmacist order it for you. It works great and the best part is you don't have to rub it on their little bottoms so it doesn't hurt them. Good luck!
