I know this sounds weird but for oily areas whip up some egg whites. Leave on for about 10 to 15 minutes. They will dry and absorb the oils and irritations. Do it 3 to 4 times a week till it gets better then 1 a week. It is all natural and much less expensive than a store product.
It worked well when a friends daughter used men's soap on her face and her face broke out badly. In a week this cleared it right up. The only time I would not do this is if you are allergic to eggs.

if you have sensitive skin, i wouldn't suggest doing this, BUT, i like to use alcohol! 1-3 times a day (depending on how dirty or greasy/sweaty i get during the day) i like to take cotton balls, soak with some rubbing alcohol and rub it on my face (not TOO much alcohol that it's dripping all over the place, but enough that it's wet!) and once i'm done my face, neck, and chest (i like to clean as much as possible) feel soft and clean! sometimes during the winter i have to limit myself to once a day only 3-4 times a week so my skin doesn't get too dry. hope this helps.

Proactive works great. You will see results in three weeks. Also, limit dairy foods.

Hi D., I have never herd of a vitamin that helps with adult acne, but I started using the Wal Mart version of Proactive, and IT WORKS!!!!!!!!! I suffer from adult acne and wanted to buy Proactive, but when I seen how much it cost my husband went to Wal Mart last year and bought THEIR version of it. I was surprised within the 3 time of using it my face was clearer, and felt a ton better. Good luck, and I hoped this helped!!

I too have struggled with this after having beautiful skin my entire life with barely a pimple EVER-after kids slowly the adult acne came. I tried many things that I saw all over the web. Don't bother. Go to a dermatologist and get accutane. That's the only sure way it will go away. Everyone wants to sell you something that will take it away but fact of the matter is many of those products are fine for regular pimple breakouts but adult acne usually won't be helped by any of those products. I tried so many of them and wasted alot of energy and money and they never worked. Do yourself a favor and don't waste money and time being hopeful - just go to the dermatologist and get the prescription and move on to skin without the acne. And to boot if you have insurance it should cover it so it won't be much of an expense there either. Good luck

Hi D., I don't know much about the products out there. But I'll tell what happened to me. It all came down to dental work. Once I had all my wisdom teeth pulled and was more on point with my dental appointments, my adult acne disappeared overnight. Remember, our skin is often and indicator of what's happening internally. Depending on your skin type try using Proactive. The commercials are true "it's gold in a bottle." It works great!

Acne comes from within the body. When the liver is too clogged up to process hormones and toxins, the skin erupts. This is why teens get so much acne....it's hormones! All the skin care in the world won't help to fix the problem, although it might temporarily seem to help but as soon as you stop using it, the problem will come back. Proactive is a very toxic substance so that would further add to the problem in the long run.

The bowels also need to work properly to eliminate toxic waste. If you are not having at least 1-3 bowel movements a day this is where your problem might be.

If you'd like to email me, I can send you some files about what would be helpful for you: ____@____.com sure to avoid sugar, dairy, white flour, unhealthy fats (use coconut, hemp, avocado or olive oils, butter for eating, borage or evening primrose & Cod liver oil pills, nothing else). This will help somewhat. Most of us are very depleted in essential fatty acids which contributes to bad skin.
