Help!! Really Bad Bloating!

Hi Moms,

I have been extremely bloated and somewhat nauseous, no appetite, for about the past 5 days. My period is about 1-3 days late(usually, I'm anywhere from 28-31 days). I've taken 2 pregnancy tests-both negative. I am so uncomfortable and am beginning to worry. I'm otherwise healthy, not constipated, not gas related, exercise, good weight..etc. I think this is pms related, but I'm just really getting worried. Any stories to share or advice....I'll call my doc on monday of course!! Thanks!

What can I do next?

I've used Gas-x in the past - chewable's. I've had really bad bloating/ gas pains (doubled over in pain) and these seem to help. Good Luck!

Has your diet changed in any way? Eating drinking anything new or something you haven't had in a while? That is normally the cause for bloating... or it could be stress related too. If you took two pregnancy tests, and they both came out negative, chances are your not pregnant, but the best advice I can offer you is to go to your doctor and get an expert opinion.

Hi,
If this is not just limited to a day or 2 longer, you may have a stomach bacteria called H-pylori. It can cause all of those symptoms, soemtimes comes on rather abruptly. but othertimes slowly.
A simple blood test ordered by your healthcae provider can tell if you carry the antibody titer to this bacteria.
You can also try a box of Prilosec OTC to see if these syptoms get better, if just a virus. Call your healthcare provider if not getting better.
The treatment for H-pylori is 2 antibiotics plus a medicine like prilosec, for 10-14 days. Good luck.

That was always one of the first signs for me that I was preg (I have had 3 kids, 4 pregnancies), before the preg tests were positive, the extreme bloating. I hope it is not something serious!

I'm still getting over the new strain of intestinal flu that started the same way. My drs. nurse, didn't even want me in the office to be getting anyone else sick. I needed to go on a soft diet, take Ibuprofen and Immodium if I started to need it (and believe me she said, you will!). I did! I've been sick for 10 days already and just when I thought it was gone, yesterday, there it was, back again in the evening. If you're bloated and tummy is painful, just give the dr. a call if it gets to what I have. Good luck

Hi M. A- There are so many things that could be going inside of you. Your body is trying to tell you something. Being an advocate for natural remedies for years-I would recommend that you do the following--

1. Increase your consumption of good clean water.
2. Increase your intake of fruits and veggies-organic of course--juice if you can
3. Go to your local health food store and purchase 2 medicinal teas-health king products preferably pms relief and they have one for bloating but I am not sure what it is called. These help immensely to release that feeling.

You could possibly be suffering from candidasis which is a build up of yeast in the body. All women have it to some degree. I have studied herbology for 7 years and have had and recommended wonderful results using holistic courses of action. If you want more info send me a personal message.

could probably be yeast, you need to get on a yesat free diet and take acidophilis pills with out dairy and garlic Q102 start one pill a day and increase up to 4-5 with the acidophilis and up to 6 a day with the garlic. acidopholis is 20 minutes before a meal and garlic is with a meal this will help tremendously

It's possible that you could have some cysts. I have one on my left kidney and ovary. I'm going in to have them checked out and to talk to my doc about having them removed. I have bloating alot and have been researching cysts. From what I've read they can cause bloating and discomfort.
