Help My Dried Up, Acne Prone Face

Please, tell me what kind of facial creams work best for removing fine lines, moisturizing, lessening the appearance of facial scars and will not cause break outs. It is a tall order to fill but, I see creams that advertise it all the time. Does anything really work? I have a small amount of scarring from the acne I get when I am pregnant. I would love to get rid of it and have a fresh glowing face.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

I ended up trying the Arbonne RE9 line. I love it! In fact, I liked it so much I am now selling it. Thank you all for everything. I always get such great responses from everyone.

I use the Mary Kay Time Wise Line for oily/combination skin. I have oily acne prone skin, with some dryness and the face wash and lotion both work great on my skin.

My dermatologist put me on Obagi when I was getting married. You can't use it when pregnant or breastfeeding, but afterwards, it is totally amazing!!!!! It works with your skin and rebalances it after the first 3 weeks.

I will go back to it after we finish trying. :)

Checkout the Murad line...it's a little pricey but worth every penny!!! It helped me with scarring and dullness caused by pregnancy. www.murad.com will help you figure out a plan.

I use the Shaklee Skincare system filled with vitamins. I have very young looking skin.

I am 47 and I have used the Clinique line since I was about 11 or 12. I love it. Not to sound rude or anything but people cannot believe I am 47. I easily pass for early 30's.

I attribute that to good genes (Native American heritage) but also Clinique. Currently, I use the Repairwear line day, night and eye cream. I also use the makeup products. They have an acne wash and line for acne prone skin as well.

My soon to be 14 yr old has used Clinique since since she was 11-12 as well. We both use the mild liquid wash. She alternates with the foaming acne wash. She has no acne issues but we have been very proactive in that respect. She sees Dr. Menter or one of his PA's (dermatology) every 6 months. She uses a cream called Duac for prevention daily.

When I am feeling really dry, I use the moisture surge. Daughter and I both use the yellow moisturizer in the gel form.

I can't say enough about Clinique. Also, if something makes you break out OR if you simply hate it, take it back with your receipt. They stand by their products.

I believe Nordstrom is having a special right now....spend $25 and get a special cosmetic bag with some good samples.

I'm in the same boat as you only I still tend to have acne breakouts.

I use Arbonne's RE9 line and it is fantastic. When I use it like I should (I'm horrible about not washing my face at night) I have beautiful skin.

Most of the consultants will let you try it for a week before you buy. It is pricey but it lasts forever!

Hope this helps.

I do free facials for true combination skin like yours...I have been in business for almost 17 years would love to visit!
