Try putting them in a bag with some active charcoal. Just be careful not to get the black charcoal on the shoes or it may not come off--

I would use Sol U Mel from Melaleuca! Non toxic and it has a lot of other uses after it get's the smell out of the shoes

Can they be washed? If so, wash them on a sunny day, and let them air dry in direct sun. Put white vinegar in the rinse water, and liberally sprinkle baking soda in them when dry.

you can sock them in tomato juice for a day then wash them in the washer and let them air dry other then that i do not know

There are a number of molecular odor eliminators on the market that are made specifically to neutralize biological odors. My favorite is called Zero Odor, and it works miracles! I have used it on all kinds of animal related spots, and on the moldy smell that got into a small patch of carpeting after we had a plumbing emergency and a minor flood.

A little of this product goes a long way. One of the things I like most about this product is that it is non toxic and safe to use around children and pets. I also like the fact that it is not perfumed, and it simply removes the odors without masking them.

I would try putting some baking soda inside the shoes and sitting them in the sun all day. The sun has fabulous bleaching powers! You could even hang them on the clothes line, if you have one. My dh has horrible stinky feet and washing his tennis shoes does absolutely no good. In fact, sometimes it makes it worse! Sun and baking soda work well for us.

I would try sprinkling them with baking soda and leaving it on the for a day. If that doesn't work you can try spraying them with white vinegar and leaving them to dry. I will be interested to see what the other ladies have to say.
