My 18 month old daughter got into some nail polish =/ Luckily she didnt get any on the carpet or my white couch. She did however get it all over my cherry finished coffee table. I got most of it up just wiping it off but there are still some streaks left on the table. Does anyone know how to get it off without eating away at my beautiful finish? Please help! I almost had a panic attack just looking at it!!

My Son is 19 months also...I wonder sometimes if I do keep my weight down just by following him, carrying him etc.. also congrats on graduating. I was fortunate enuf to finish college before my little one came along. It must have been hard doing everything at once. Pat yourself on the back.

Anyway, dab a little bit of NON Acetone remover on one little spot with a q-tip and try to see if it will come up. Infact, dip the q-tip into the NON Acetone nail polish remover bottle, gently rub onto stain hence pulling up the nail polish but not your beautiful finish...be patient with the process and I think you will get the results you are looking for. MAKE SURE it is NON Acetone..... ACETONE nail polish remover will eat your finish, but NON Acetone should be gentle enuf to do the trick. Good Luck. Advice: Get your nails done by a pro, like me...if I didn't I would have nail polish everywhere as well. LOL M.

I would have to agree about the magic easer. It is very good. But make sure your daughter does not get ahold of it.

Yes try the non-acetone nail polish remover and do it in a small spot not too noticeable to see if it ruins the finish. This is recommended to use on laminate wood flooring to get tough stains off as you can only use laminate hardwood cleaner otherwise to clean the floors. Hope that helps.

What about non acetone fingernail polish remover? You could try a bit on a place where it sould not be seen and see if it mars the finnish. Good Luck!!!

S., it may not come off. But try some lemon oil on a microfiber cloth.
