I sure hope someone can help me with this. A couple of months ago I noticed mold on a couple of window ledges. On most of those windows there was condensation also. We cleaned it up and pulled up the blinds a little so there was breathing room. Well the window in our bedroom had so much condensation there was a big puddle gathering on the ledge, so much it went through the walls. So now there is a long area that is bubbling on the wall. Not to mention lots of mold. We clean it, it comes back. I have bad allergies and my 4yr olds allergies are worse then mine. My throat has been killing me and my ears have been hurting and itching. My daughter has a horrible cough and runny nose. The mold was found on the ledge in her room as well. So thats the issue with the windows. By the way everything I have read said it was from high humidity in the house. Well according to the humidity checkers online, we have low humidity.
So the next issue is we found mold on my 4yr olds closet on the wall at the bottom. And also my husband moved the bed away from the wall in my other daughters guess what he found mold on the bottom of the wall. I have no clue where it is coming from, but it has to stop. That is horrible for everybody especially my daughter. Please someone help me.

What can I do next?

I am so sorry. What a horrible mess. I agree with the others. You need a professional as soon as possible. Don't waste time. There is nothing you can do on your own to stop it. Especially since it is coming UP the walls, the mold could be in your subfloor. We had this in a bathroom once (at a rent house) where the walls were moldy and bubbling and it turned out to be the subfloor (from a leaky shower), and it was a major process for a pro. to fix it. We also had bubbling walls at another rent house in the bathroom (again) and once again it was due to a wet subfloor (from a leaky toilet). My brother had moldy walls at his house and it was due to leaky pipes behind the walls.

By the way, I also get itchy ears from mold.

You're going to need to call a professional. Mold can be dangerous and cause health problems. Since it's in your walls and spreading and you don't know the source you need to have someone come take care of it for you.

I would contact your homeowner's insurance & ask them about help & coverage on your policy. They might have an amount they cover to help with costs.

Best of luck...

A warning about insurance: They can require measures that will cost a fortune and raise your rates. I had some nmod from a leak behind a cupboard. It was big. I looked it up online and found very clear instructions. First and foremost is stop the source of moisture. Anything else is useless w/o that. Then we hung plastic to avoid th emold spreading about the house and did what they said. Gloves, masks, strip down inside the plastic, etc. Or call a pro and pay for them to do all that.
