Ok so we are expecting baby #3 in Aug and we are having a really hard time with a name. I was just wanting your opinion of the names that we thought of. It has been really hard to find a name because there are 12 of us friends that are pregnant at the same time. So we need to find a name quick before someone takes our name.
Here are the names of my family...Josh, A., Lauren, Taylor...and we have another girl on the way. Here are the names we like Olivia and Ashlynn and the middle name Marie.
I was just wanting your opinion on what name sounds good with our family.

What can I do next?

I am 100% for Olivia Marie. I think that is one of the most beautiful names I have heard in a while!
Best of luck,

Out of the two you gave as options, I like Olivia better. You already have A.. Good luck and congratulations.

I like Ashlynn Marie. My middle name happens to be Marie! My daughter has a unique name, Myriel, and I call her Ellie as a nickname. Her dad picked it out of a J.R.R. Tolkien book of all places and changed the spelling slightly.

I wouldn't worry too much about having names that sound similar. You'll probably have a nickname for her that the family uses to tell the difference. If it makes you feel better, when I met my boyfriend, his daughter also had the nickname Ellie... so now we have two Ellies in the house!

My cousin just named their baby Ashlynn Marie. Plus, my first name is Patricia, after my mom. I went by my middle name my whole life which can be confusing, as can sharing my mom's name. I like Olivia Marie.

Well, if you're trying to fit w/the ones you have. Ashlynn is very much like A.. We almost chose Olivia. It was the one name that started with a vowel that we liked. We also thought that as a 30 year old Olivia would sound a bit more grown up.

But even if someone else has it, does it really matter? Sometimes I think we get so caught up in trying diferentiate every little detail, than we forget what's really important. She may have the same name as someone else, but she'll be the one to make it her own.

I like all the names you've suggested. All though I'm just not that crazy about the name Taylor, as a 1st name. It would work good as a middle name.

I personally like Olivia better. I think with an A. in the family, Ashlynn would be too close to it. Good luck!

I love both your names! But you might find that people confuse A. and Ashlynn quite a bit since they're so similar. The "confusion factor" might end up being frustrating to you or to her.

I wanted a girl so bad, I just had my third boy...
The name I would have wanted for a girl was Emma Rose. I don't know if that helps or not, but good luck

My initial gut reaction was that I loved the name Ashlynn, then I saw you already had an A. in your family, but then I realized you are the A. which I think makes it even better. I might have to steal the name if I ever have a girl... :)

I love the name Olivia, but I have an Alivia. We spelled with an "A" because thats how we say it (sounding like Ulivia) just a thought. I also have a boy named Jayce (sounds like Jace) good luck.

I vote for Olivia since A. and Ashlynn sound sound so much alike. Are you stuck on Marie as a middle name? I think Olivia Aslynn as one name is pretty. that's what we did when we couldn't agree on our daughter's name. We combined them! Good luck!

I personally like Olivia of the two names. I think it would just be too confusing having an Ashly and and Ashlynn. Ashlynn is pretty, but if I were down to those two choices, it would be Olivia for me. (Plus, Olivia Marie is a beautiful, exotic sounding name!)
