Help Getting Diaper Cream off Clothes

My daughter got diaper cream all over her pants the other day at day care. I just ran them through the wash and none of it came off. I just tried scrubbing if off and that did not help. I now have them soaking in oxi-clean. These are bored pants and would hate to ruin them. Any suggestions??

What can I do next?

Hi D....did the oxi-clean work?

I do have some ideas if it did not but may I ask a few questions first about the pants and the cream?

if the oxyclean doesn't work, try scrubbing them with dawn dishsoap, i think i used it before to get desitin off my clothes.....it works pretty well for greasy stains on clothes!

Lestoil works well on all sorts of stains, including oil based ones. I buy it at Meijer, in the laundry aisle. It does not smell great, but it works wonders!

You will need a greast dissolver, you can find them in the laundry aisle, or the cleaning aisle. Some cleaners , like fulsol (sp?) are good for clothes and cleaning.

I spray all spots on our laundry with Shout before washing. I buy the huge one at Sams Club so I don't have to worry about running out. I also use the Trader Joe's brand of oxiclean and Tide detergent. I can get out almost anything with these.

i would try awesome from the dollar store. i'm a pre school teacher and left a crayon in my pocket washed and dried the load of cloths before i realised the crayon melted all over my favorite shirt. i rewashed it after i sprayed it with awesome it all came out with out a trace where it was. it also gets out the paint from school. good luck

Vinegar will cut the grease/oil and should get the diaper cream to come off without damaging the pants. (plain ol' white vinegar)

dawn dish detergent cuts grease... I use it on my cloth diapers when they get diaper cream on them.
