Help for Teen Mom- Needs Support Group

Hello - I just love this site! My daughter is 20 yrs old and just moved back from Texas . She has a 1 yr old daughter who is a blessing and joy! I am trying to find her a moms support group in the area so she can talk to other young moms. Im also thinking of starting my own if we cant find one- take care all .

Good for you...yes, teen Moms definitely need support...I know, I was one myself! (I was pregnant with my so at 16 and had him at 17)

There should be a MOPS group in your area. You can search for a local group at:

www.mops.org

The age of the moms will most likely be diverse, but that's probably a good thing, right?

How about searching for a local MOMs Club? You could also go to Pittsburghmom.com and post a thread about starting a local group of young mothers or search to see if they have info on any already established.

There are a bunch of different parent group to choose from, and you can join more than 1. They have monthly calendars, when you can post or attend an event. I am a member and it is a great site too!
