Help Finding Some to Watch Kiddos for the Summer
Ok here goes...I am having a big problem with what to do with kids for the summer. My son is six and is out of school for the summer. My two girls go to a daycare where we have decided to put our son for the summer. He is very shy around people he does not know and the class they have him in contains boys up to age 12. He was very upset today to be going there and it really isn't a good fit for him. Anyone know of a teacher or college student that would like to take care of three kiddos this summer? Anyone know of any resources to find them? A nanny agency won't work because they want a $2000 fee upfront plus salary on top of that.
So What Happened?™
We used Sittiercity and found a wonderful girl to take care of the kids they had a great summer and are now back in school. I love the fact that you can get a background check and refrences all very easily with them.

E.,
I have a home daycare. I also have a summer program. You can check out the fun things we are going to do this summer at www.mtckc.com/summerprogram. There is a lot of information on my website. I have two 3 year olds right now plus my 7 and 10 year olds. My 10 year old is a boy and the younger boys have fun playing with him b/c he loves super heros and computer and Wii games. The summer rates are on that summer program page. If you have any questions about anything, just drop me an email or give me a call.

I've had luck finding someone on www.sittercity.com
You can post exactly who you are looking for and how much you can pay, etc. and people apply for the job. From my recent experience there I can tell you that there are A LOT of young women out there looking for summer work. You can subscribe for a month for about $35. Also, check the Member Perks section of Mamasource for a discount code to use.
Good luck!
