Try calling Community information and referral! ###-###-#### and tell them your situation and that you are looking for a place that offers help with preparation for obtaining your GED. They are loaded with information and can help with anything.

phoenix college gives the test and deer valley park up on utopia (just s of 101) and 19th ave offers classes to prepare you.

Try Child And Family Resources in Phoenix. It's an awesome program and they help you out with day care while you go to school. They also help you out with a lot of other things that us single mothers need. That's where I got my GED at.

You can also try Rio Salado Community College, they offer online courses etc. I know I have taken classes at Luke before and online. I really enjoy their programs

Good Luck

If you go to D.e.s. They can tell you where to go. They are located at 9516 W. Peoria in the corner of the stip mall or you can call at ###-###-####. They can be very helpful even if you don't need food stamps or medical insurance. They will give you a list or places to go and some online sites you can visit, the test itself is on;y like fifty dollars per course so like $150- 200 for the GED. I know it sounds like a lot but it is really worth it. I got mine at Glendale community collage. Well good luck to you.
