Healthy Easy Recipes
Hi moms. I am really trying to get me and my family on a healthy track. I am not a fan of cooking I only have like 5 dinners that I can cook. I am trying to get some new EASY healthy recipes to cook for dinner. If you have one do you think you could send it to me? Im also trying to get some healthy lunches and Breakfast foods for my 2 1/2 year old who is the pickiest eater in the WORLD! He won't eat anything but chicken nuggets any Ideas on that would be great too. Thank you :)

I share one of my little tricks. My son likes noodles (pasta) but hates brocolli, so I make the sauce by putting the milk and brocolli in a blender and blend. Then pour that over the cooked pasta, add the cheeses and some chicken breast (canned or cooked) to it, serve with apple juice and you have a healthy quick meal from your food groups. This is the best site EVER.... www.annabelkarmel.com
Annabel is British and has a huge following in nurseries and pre-schools in the UK. She has an amazing web site that has very easy meals for Babies, Children and Families.
Our nine month old baby has tried several of her recipes and loves them. It's worth checking out.

Here is something for you to look at with your picky child in mind (I have a picky one and a not-so-picky one):

Please don't forget, you can substitute ground beef for ground turkey or ground chicken.
You can add veggies into almost anything.
You can add a can of white beans, bell pepper, onion, garlic and zucchini to spaghetti sauce.
Add black beans, bell peppers, zucchini and onion to taco meat.
You could look at what other menus people plan for the week in the forums:

If you can't tell, I really like this site. I have been with it for seven years. Email me if you have questions.
Good luck!

Stir fry is always a big hit at my house. It's VERY fast and easy.
Ingredients:
-Shrimp (or you can use chicken, beef or even tofu, although I've never tried tofu!)
-Stir Fry Veggies (frozen or fresh are available in the grocery store pre-mixed. If using fresh, steam them partially before stir-frying)
-Soy Sauce
Simply put all the ingredients in a pan and cook until the shrimp are pink and the veggies are hot.
Add the soy sauce and voila! So simple and healthy too!
Serve with rice.
