Many causes of headaches. Start by drinking lots of water. Dehydration is a big cause of headaches. It is an easy thing to start with to rule out other potential problems. If you're drinking lots of water and still getting headaches, then it's time to look elsewhere for the cause.

Could be tension, could be hormones, stress, lots of causes... have you tried craniosacral therapy? I'm not just trying to advertise what I do. There's other people out there that do it... I just believe in it for many issues. .. headache being one of them.
(I have a mama-perk here) I'm in Tucson, but I see that you are in Las Vegas. Start asking around for practitioners there.

I used to get headaches all the time. Went to doctor after doctor, until one said, go get your eyes check, if you don't need glasses, then we will run more test. Guess what, I needed glasses. Once I started wearing them, my headaches went away. So, my sugguestion would be, to get your eyes checked

You have lots of great suggestions. I would recommend Dr. Mark Force (naturalpath chiropractor). He can do some very simple test to see if you're deficient in things. I would also suggest a gluten-free diet for a couple of months and see if that helps. They are doing some fantastic research with lots of things like ADHD and autism as well as other autoimmune diseases and finding gluten free diets are helping tremendously. Good luck.

For awhile in my 20's, I got a headache late every afternoon. I eventually found out I was hypoglycemic – having a blood sugar crash an hour or so after coffee-break sugary snack. The headaches stopped when I switched the snack to nuts or cheese.

But in the meantime, I learned to pull and knead sensitive spots on my ears. The headaches would stop within 10 minutes or so. I have since used this technique on other people's headaches with similar success. (Never worked on migraines, however.)

You may want to try seeing a chiropractor you might have something jammed in your neck that is actually causing your headaches. I have also used accupunture to help with my headaches and migraine headaches and it works like a charm!

I recommend seeing a different doctor. My Grandfather, father & aunt all died from brain aneurisms...the 1st signs reoccurring migraines. My dad had been in the hospital 5 hrs before he died. They even ran a cat scan but because they did not use the dye they never noticed his weakened vessel. There was nothing my mom could do either since it is not normal procedure to use the dye when giving a cat scan. My siblings and I were told to request the dye any time we have a cat scan. My cousin (aunt’s daughter) had been diagnosed with migraines, but after learning what killed her grandfather, mother (she was very young when her mom died) and uncle she had them use the dye only to find out she already had a weakened vessel. Luckily she was able to have it fixed before it killed her.

Alot of good responses I would agree with but wanted to add: Have your eyes checked. Often having sudden, frequent headaches is a sign of eye sight troubles, do you wear glasses/contacts? Might be time for a new prescription. Also, have you taken yourself "off" of or drastically reduced your caffeine intake, that can cause them as well.

I used to get headaches daily. I removed as much MSG from my diet as possible. No more headaches. You have to read labels from crackers, to frozen burritos.
