HCMC Midwife Service

I delivered both of my kids there, but with an OB, not a Midwife. I had good experiences all around EXCEPT with their Doula Program. All I can say about that is "beware."

I delivered my first and only baby there last year and really loved it. The rooms are great (big and homey) and I thought everyone was very nice and helpful. I will go back if I have a 2nd baby.

I delivered my sixth child with them and thought that they were wonderful! They were very respectful and intuitive in their care.

I had a water birth there with the midwives, It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it. Even if you don't want to do a water birth you should tell them you do because you get the big room! BUT, I highly recommend the water birth. I had no tearing with my first child and felt so relaxed and my daughter was so calm when she entered the world. Good luck!
