Having Trouble Finding Athletic Pants-inbetween Sizes

Hi!

Last spring my son wore adidas size 7 athletic pants. Now he has outgrown them! He is too small for the adidas pants labeled small in the boys 8 and above section, but too big for the size 7. He will only wear athletic pants and I am having a hard time finding him any pants that will fit. Anyone else been in this spot and know of pants that will fit?

We just have to buy the next size up and I sew a bit of elastic inside the waistband to keep them from pooling around her feet when she sucks her stomach in..lol.

Buy some a bit larger, leave tags on, take them to a tailor to have them altered. If the tailor can't alter them return them and buy another brand.

Brands vary by size. Try on different brands.

I find Puma to run small, so maybe a size S in those would work. Or, I would just buy the ones that are a little big and roll the waist band until he grows into them. Try TJ Maxx, thats where I buy most of my boys' athletic pants. They usually carry most of the major brands AND they're only $10-$13.
