Having a Hard Time Finding a Job
I've been under-employed for about a year and am now unemployed. I'm a social worker and have some retail experience. I can't seem to find anything that doesn't require late nights and weekends, and most don't pay enough for me to hire a nanny.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

check this out I do this at night but make great money. Have a great back up team to help me and the best part is there is no start up cost just a party and your family and friends to help you get off your feet in getting your shows. Hope to hear from you

Have you ever considered doing family childcare out of your home, I do it and I love it. I am my own boss, pick my hours and have fun being with my own children. ALso, my kids have made many friends with me doing this. Just a suggestion!!

Like Lisa G. recommended, being a consultant for companies like Lia Sophia/Pampered Chef/Mary Kay/Avon/Partylite/Body Shop/etc, you can choose your own hours and spend lots of time with your family. I'm going to start selling Lia Sophia jewelry in August and I'm looking forward to making my own hours, doing a few jewelry shows a month and making 30-40% of my sales. If you're interested in being an advisor for Lia Sophia, let me know and I'd be happy to give you more information! Here's my email: ____@____.com (if you're interested in Pampered Chef,Mary Kay or The Body Shop, let me know, I have some friends that are consultants)

where do you live. If you are a social worker living near the Albany area i know of an agency that will be looking for people soon. They might be willing to hire you part time and they are willing to work around people's scheudles. Let me know.

You can make some good money in direct sales, Avon,lia/sophia,pampered chef, tastefully simple.....things like that. Avon is great because there are no "shows" and your daughter can ride around with you. I recommend choosing one that has a "consumable product", that way once you get some customers they will have repeat orders.
There are a ton of these out there, find a reputable one you like and go have fun with it .
