looking here will give you all kinds of info...Good Luck.
In my personal experience, EVERYONE I know who underwent a reversal became pregnant within 3 years. It is only 3 people, but I dont know anyone it has not worked for personally.

No, NOTHING is impossible with prayer! My friend, who had a tubal reversal, took about 2 years; she also miscarried 2 babies in the wait. (Just delievered a healthy boy 3 weeks ago!) It takes patience, and while there are no guarantees, with God, ALL things are possible.

I'm confused...is it that you had a tubal or that something is wrong with your hormones. From what I understand, tubals are pretty hard to reverse. I have a friend that was looking into having hers reversed but her doctor told her that her chances of conceiving were very slim. Check with your doctor. Good luck.

They'll tell you that your hormones aren't, well, what they were when you were 30. Mine weren't either and I injected hormones and inserted drugs and the like and we were able to conceive and now we have a healthy yummy 5-month-old. I don't know about tubal reversals, but know you can get help in the hormone area in most cases. I am assuming you are going to a reproduction specialist. I wish I had gone sooner to one as opposed to my OB/GYN giving me bad advice.

Good Luck!

You need to contact Dr. Tom Hildgers. He helped my friend with the same problem and now she has two more kids. You do not want to do invetro. It is artificial and often they fertilize too many eggs and then have to abort some of your babies. You want to keep it natural so that you can get the best care for yourself and your baby.

It is possible but not as easy as if you hand't had the tubal to begin with. If you've already had the reversal and they are saying your hormone levels are low or off balance, then you might want to check into a fertility DR to help you along.

Good Luck!

I hope everything works out for you. My husband tried to get me to agree to have my tubes tied after our second child because we can't see wanting another, but we've also always wanted a girl and I am not convinced that after my boys are older and want nothing to do with me that I would not want to try for another. And I'm worried I'd end up similar to your case..wanting another and would either not be able to pay to have it reversed or not be able to after I got it reversed. Your post has made me more steady on my decision..I was considering it there for awhile. I'm sorry that your going through this and I wish you luck.

Yes it is possible. I know someone that had it done and she is expecting a second one after the reversal. And her 5th boy all together!!

My doctor said there was a better chance with inveto fertilization but after reading all of these responses it looks like there is a good chance that it works. I want a little girl very badly, but I had my tubes tied. Does anyone know the cost of the reversal? I am interested in doing this too.....some day.

I have cousin that had a problem getting pregnant because of her hormones and the Doc. put her back on birth control pills to get her hormones back in check. After 6 months on the pill she got pregnant 2 months after she got off them.

My sister-in-law had this procedure done after having hers tied for 12 years. They told her there was only a 1% (one percent) chance of her conceiving but she did. It took about a year to 18 months though before she conceived my neice. Just remember though...just like pregnancy..conceiving is different in every woman. I didn't have my first child until I was 40 and I am 44 with a 4 year old now and my tubes were not tied. Good Luck and Best Wishes.
