Keep finding ads on the internet for combo of acai berry supplements and colon cleanse supplements to lose weight. Anybody try it? I am 80 lbs heavier than I was 10 years ago and would like to make my way back there. Already watching my diet and exercising, just wonder if this could help too! Let me know of any successes or failures you have experienced with these products. Thanks!

I saw on the Doctors tv show this morning that the colon cleanse or system cleansing stuff wasn't all that beneficial. The doc said that it might be a good kick off to get you started on your journey, but of course, the best way to proceed was a moderate diet, exercise, etc. Actually, fasting a day or so - if you can do it physically and medically - is a good kick start, too.

I have a friend who sells MonaVie and swears by it. V-8 makes a Acai berry blend veggy/fruit juice and I've been drinking a little bit of it for nutritional purposes, but haven't noticed that it's helping with my weight. Problem with MonaVie that I see is that you only take an ounce or two a day, but a bottle is quite expensive and only lasts a few weeks.

Good luck!

Hi S., I don't know anything about this, but I know alot of women who recently lost alot of weight by using Alli. They said they love it and it works really really good and they are walking proof of it. I just gained about 40lbs myself, so I went out and bought a really good colon cleanse that they show on TV, the really gross one LOL and I bought Alli to use after. I'm expecting really good results. I know this is not what you were asking about, but I just thought I would share what I know and saw for myself.

Good Luck with your weight loss and please let us know what happens.

L.

I googled 'are acai diet blogs fake' and got this website:

The "diet blogs" that seem like ordinary women with real weight-loss stories are not real. They all sound the same, and disappear after a while.
