Has Anyone Tried a Body Wrap
I love this treatment and want to buy gift certificates for my mom and sister for Christmas...is this something you would want to receive or does it send the wrong message? I know it is very healthy in addition to tightining and toning and thought it would be a great gift.

i have tried the body wrap, however I am a little claustraphobic and have restless leg syndrome. So I didnt enjoy it very much. I would get a gift certificate to the spa but maybe not for one specific thing. Or maybe somehow find out if they are claustraphobic. But for me I was greatful for the gift but I really didnt enjoy the body wrap. Then again the lady did forget about me also so I was left in there longer than usual so maybe that could be the reason to. I had to waddle to the door and get her attention. But other than that i would love another gift certificate to the spa i just wouldnt use it for the wrap. Its a great idea

Wow are you kidding me, I would love to receive a body wrap for any gift. I have not had the pleasure of having one yet but have looked into it, maybe I can get one for Mothers Day and pay for my mom one as well. I think my mother would love the treat of a spa day and appreciate the thought.
I think that is an awesome gift idea. Think of the many health benefits of the wrap and what is does for the body.
Today is my Birthday and I should have requested a wrap instead of a wii fit. Now that I think of it, I would rather have the wrap. It's a little late now, but maybe I can get lucky.
Awesome idea I think.

I don't even like massages, so this wouldn't go over with me at all. Maybe a manicure/pedicure gc would be better.

Hi D.,
You could send me a gift certificate! Where can you get one done?
I don't think it sends the wrong message, especially to your mom and sister. You could just say you love it and thought they might love it too. Now, unless you had a really wonderful and close mother-in-law, I probably wouldn't recommend giving her a gift certificate, but for your own family, I think it's a great gift!
I have never tried it, so I would love to know where and how much!
Buy them!

I had a body wrap done after I was done nursing my baby. I loved the experience, but I can see where it'd be a bit uncomfortable. I bought my mom a message one year and although she enjoyed it, I know she'll never want another one...unless maybe with a women. Try feeling it out by talking about how much you love them and ask if they've ever thought about it.
Another solution. I helped my brother in law get my SIL a gift certificate to a full service salon. Our intention was for a message, so the amount reflected the message, but she ended up using it on getting her hair done and some other things. So it worked out great.

D.,
I think we may be related, please send me this wonderful gift!!

p.s. I have never had a wrap and have always wanted to try one and I think this would be a good way for your family members to try something new, although, I do agree that a general spa gc would probably be best and you can suggest that they try the wrap.

I think it's a great idea but not everyone would be comfortable having that done. Try bringing it up in a conversation to see if that is something they would like to do. You would hate for it to go to waste.

I've never had a body wrap - but it sounds great and I'd love that as a gift! Or what about a gift certificate to a spa in case they'd prefer a pedicure or whatever. Have fun - Alison
