Has Anyone Had Experience Using Dr. Julia Flowers as Their OB Doctor?
I am newly pregnant, (about 6-7 weeks) and was wondering if anyone has used Dr. Julia Flowers in Grapevine as their OB-GYN?
What do you think of her?
I have seen her before for well-woman, etc, but was curious about her as an OB doctor??
Thank you!

I have heard great things about her and was very impressed with her credentials. I tried to make a well women appt. and they said she was booked until 2011, which is just crazy. I think it may be different if you are pregnant, it sounds like they get you right in if that is the case.

My friend did. And she was great until she started forcing her to induce 2 weeks before due date just because she was going to vacation. But with the rest my friend was very happy with her. I had my 2 boys with dr Wai, they share office and i guess work as a team. He is a very good doctor too.

She is my doctor, and as an OB nurse, I know her patients love her. She is very conscientious and attentive - I won't go into my birth experience - she only delivered my last child. She is VERY busy and unless you are already an established patient you won't get in with her.

Well, Congratulations first! I am also newly pregnant 9 weeks this tuesday. And I called dr. flowers office when i tested positive on a home pregn. test, and they got me in right away. (even though i was not a current patient of hers) she has been fabulous! She is very reassuring, and you can tell she cares. I would definately recommend her, just in the short time i've been with her, I already feel like i'm in good hands! Good luck!

Congratulations! I have been a patient of Dr. Flowers for 9 years and she delivered all three of my kids. My youngest is 6 months. She was fabulous! Everyone says she is so busy, and yes that is true, but I never felt that my care was anything but her best. Having children herself, I always felt that Dr. Flowers understood more about what I was going through. I have recommended her to several friends and know you will be in good hands!
