I have not, but my husband has been on it for about a month and a half. He has lost 12 lbs so far. He claims the food is pretty good. The idea of the plan is really to teach portion control, which most of us need these days in America. It also teaches you how to eat a balanced diet. Nutrisystem provides the entrees and some snacks, but you still have to buy your own fruits and veggies. The plan will tell you what you can eat for each meal and snack and how much. I may try the plan myself once I am no longer nursing my son. Good luck!

I am just finishing up the 28 day start up. I think it is a good way to start a diet. It has helped me to be more aware of my portions and I guess I just need rules. If there is a set structure (and I've paid for it) I will follow it. I wanted to lose 10 pound before a trip and I'm down 8. I won't renew with Nurtrisystem, but I feel well equipped to finish the job on my own. As for the food...well...for the most part it is unoffensive. It's hard not to eat the most attractive items first leaving the dregs for the end. There were a couple of chocolate bars included that were great! I would use Nutrisystem again in the future for a good jump start. Hope that helps.

I'm on NutriSystem now and have been since 3-15-07. I've lost 26 lbs. in less than 3 months and probably would be at 30 1bs. loss, if I had kept up my daily walks (other circumstances have prevented me from walking for 3 weeks).

I LOVE the program because it is CONVENIENT, pretty affordable (about $10 a day for 3 meals and two snacks) and it WORKS! In regard to the food, everyone has their favorites.

For breakfast I love all the cereals which I add my own fresh fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries) to it, the granola (which I mix with a flavored yogurt for a parfait), the blueberry muffins and the granola bars for on-the-go.

For lunch I love the Chicken & Barley stew, Black Beans and Rice, Chicken AlaKing, Split Pea Soup, Corn Chowder, Fudge Graham bar and many more. I always prepare a fresh salad with toppings (cherry tomatoes, dried fruit and a few almonds) to go with my lunch.

For dinner I love all the italian ones (Ravioli, Lasagna and other pastas), Meatloaf/Mashed Potatoes, Green Pepper-Beef-Rice dish, Beef Stroganoff, Mac & Beef, Florentine Chicken w/sauce, and there are many others too.

I so look forward to my dessert at the end of the night and was pleasantly surprised and I mean really surprised to find that the NS Crunch bars (regular or Mint chocolate) were out of this world. In fact, I LOVE them so much that I order almost ONLY these now with my custom monthly order. They taste just like Nestle Crunch bars or even better to me. They have many more sweet indulgences that are good and even for those that crave salty, they have something for you too.

My goal is to lose between 44 - 50 lbs. I hope to do so by the end of August with the help of NutriSystem & daily walks. I think IF you tried it, you would love it too.

IF YOU DO PLAN TO CONSIDER, please let me know and I can e-mail you a $30 off coupon, plus fill you in on how to save more BEFORE you order. There's a "rare" way to order where you can get $30 off, FREE shipping AND 2-weeks of FREE food (1-week free for the next two orders) on subsequent orders. And, they also offer other ways for you to earn coupons as you're in the program.

You have nothing to lose but the weight you want to get rid and do it in a very convenient way. Also, the portion control, recommended fresh veggies & fruit that you add to your daily diet and lots of water consumption will set you up in good habits to maintain your weight long after you've finished the NS program.

Wow, I sound like an advertisement...NS should incorporate me in their ads. LOL! Oh well, as you can see I love the program and definitely think you should try.

E-mail me for coupon and more info. Take care. Many Blessings! - L.

The problem with it, is you are going to go right back to what you eat now and the weight will come back. I have done all of the diets in the past, from special foods to pills. No matter what the same result, I lose and then gained it all back plus some. I have now decided to make some healthy life choices and I cleanse so that I can still eat the foods I like, but not gain the weight back. I feel better than I have in years.

I haven't tried Nutrisystem. But I'm 10 lbs down in 5 weeks with jenny craig. The food isn't bad. I was going to try Nutrisystem but I've heard about the sodium levels being high, because of they way the food is stored. So if you have high blood pressure, Nutrisystem wouldn't be a good idea. I have about 24 lbs to go.
