Hard Water Stains in My Tub

My water turns my white porcelain tub blue. I am on well water. I've had the water tested and it's fine. I have tried EVERYTHING. Non-chemical, organic, even tried all the major chemicals, Clorox, Mr. Clean Magic Sponge, all the tub cleaners, even Super Clean (cleans car engines!) etc. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've spent tons of money and still have a blue tub. Even suggestions on what we can do to the water itself other than get a total water filtering system? We priced it... $5,000. Ugh... Thanks.

What can I do next?

Lime Away or CLR. Or I just found a new product I LOVE- it's called lemi shine. Just found it at the store near the dishwasher stuff. It worked on the stuff in my house that the other two didn't fix.

I've found that Lyme Away and CLR are best for these types of stains. We have hard water too.

Have you tried Kaboom ?? This stuff works wonders, I use it on everything to get hard water stains off.

We use a very strong product called "Toilet works" (I am pretty sure that is the name). It will knock you out if you are not careful but we got this tip from my friends landlord who actually requested they use it on their tub to get off hard water stains....it does work but I STRONGLY recommend proper ventilation and having no little ones home to be honest. Also, try to keep it to the tub itself, not the faucte/fixtures as it may dull them. Ironically, it doesn't work for water stains in my toilet.....go figure!

The other 'costlier' option is a water softener....usually run a few hundred + maybe installation if you have someone do it. Cheaper than a 'filtration' system but will stop the hard water.

Try Lime Away. It's available in most grocery stores as well as home depot.
