OK, so first of all for those of you who may not know, the tickets to see this movie are $15 each!! I was shocked and quite disappointed with Disney, and dont want to take my girls to see it based on that alone!! However, they are 4 and 7, and I know that they would really love it! So, if anyone has seen it, is it worth it?? I hate to pay $45 for me to take them...at least the moms who have to go should get in free right:)..but I am having a hard time imagining not taking them. I would hate to spend the money only to find out that it was terrible, and not worth it. Let me know your thoughts:) ~A.~

What can I do next?

Well my 3 daughters 3 1/2, 7 and 11 went to see it and their uncle paid the $15 per ticket to see it. It was okay for a kid, my 7 and 11 year old liked it, but they weren't coming out of the movie saying it was cool or anything. I would not have paid the money to go see it. Also it will be out on DVD in another week only it will not be in 3D I don't think. Hope this helps.

Thanks,

T.

I too was shocked at the price, but like an idiot, I asked my daughter (7yrs) if she wanted to go BEFORE I checked the price!!

With that said, we went yesturday & she LOVED it! It's in 3-D which is pretty cool because the effects come right out at your face....My daughter & her friend kept trying to catch the confetti that looked like it was floating in the air above their heads!

I thought it was very good.....not too many "safe" things you can let your kids see these days, but this is one of them. Was it worth the money? That's a good question. Of course I'd love to have that $45 back in my wallet, but the girls really loved it. If it comes out on DVD, we will be buying it.

Hope that helps! :-) H.

I did not know about the price increase so I sent my husband early to buy matinee ticket and then he comes home and tells me he spent over $100 for all of us to go (7 of us). So we ate before we went and stopped at the dollar store for candy and didn't buy any concessions.

How often do you get to REALLY do something great like this with your daughters? We took ours, they'll be 6 in April and have no regrets....they were in awe! I will say that since it's in 3-D, sit far up and in the center, as much as possible. We also went to the concert (trust me, $15 for the movie is a bargain, lol!) and the movie was great because it showed behind the scenes things that we all enjoyed :)

I'm surprised my 13 yr old has not mentioned seeing it because she and her friends LOVE Hannah Montana (Especially the Jonas Brothers).

She has seen the concert 2 times so far and it was a great show both times. For some reason, my daughter and her friends were into the Eva Longoria movie this past weekend instead of Hannah Montana.

I would pay to go to the movie if she really wanted to go.

I took my 2 little girls! It was great. We really enjoyed it. Yeah it is Disney but we go to Disney World and that is very exspensive so I knew they would be high. It is 3D and they give you glasses. It was fun! The kids played air guitar and Hannah held her mic out and they sang and caught confeti in the air. They love the Jonas Brothers as well and we went Fri and they are still talking about it!! Also it was a treat and way better then paying what people paid for the actual concert! To me that 15.00 is GOOD :-)

I haven't seen the movie yet, we have tickets for Thursday night, but we saw the concert twice. (My husband scored free tickets from work!) The concert was incredible, so I would think that the movie would be too. It shows highlights from the concerts, so hopefully your girls will get to feel like they actually went! Hope this helps!

I have to admit that I kind of talked my 6 yo out of going. I think if it was a "movie" and not just the concert she would have pressured me more. Im with you- very disappointed that Disney raised the prices so much and only released it for one week. Whats wrong with regular movie prices! As someone else said- I think it will be on DVD very soon. We have just about everything HAnnah Montana in our house and I personally have had about enough of this phase! But the girls just love her! We also had tickets to the concert but my DD got very sick and we couldnt go- she wasnt too upset so the movie was really not a big deal to her.
