Halloween Costume - What Goes with a Monkey?

Hi! We bought my 4 month old a monkey costume. We are going to a party and my husband and I also want to dress up. What would go with the monkey costume? We thought of zookeepers, and my husband mentioned he could be a pirate. Any other good suggestions? Thanks!

We use to do family themes for halloween. You can both be pirates, like pirates of the carribean. I like the zookeepers idea and sounds easy to get.

any animal would do as you can be from the zoo. what about a favorite childrens book, show w/ monkeys in it? are there anything else that would go from the book/movie?

My friend asked me the same question a couple of years ago. We came up with "the Wizard of Oz". Since the monkey costume wasn't a flying monkey, they just made wings and pinned them to the back of the costume and people got the idea...they even won an award for best themed costumes at a party!
