Halloween Costume Ideas

I'm wanting to come up with a cute Halloween costume idea for my kids. I have a daughter who is 3 1/2 and a little boy who is 6 months. I really would love for them to have costumes that go with each other since I probably won't be able to coordinate them for too many years. Since my son is so little, it needs to be fairly practical and comfortable for him. I would love any fun suggestions. Thanks!

What can I do next?

The very first thing I thought of was the Princess and the Pea. I like the frog idea though that someone else suggested.

Snow White and a dwarf (Sleepy, maybe? or which ever one best fits his personality)

3 and 1/2, she is probably tall and slender ... how about a French Fry for her and a Tater Tot for him?

Kanga and Roo or Pooh and Tigger etc from Winnie the Pooh

Cat and Dog

My neighbors were adorable one year as Pebbles and Bam Bam.

Lillian Vernon has some good costumes. I bought many for my now 13 yr old daughter there. She ended up using all the Princess and Dress up ones with her friends when they came to visit for a long time. We got our money's worth out of those.

I still have the ladybug, dinosaur and little ones packed away.

Have fun!!

What if your daughter was little bo peep and your son a little sheep. That would be too cute. Or your daughter could be Jane of the jungle and your son a monkey. Even Ariel from The Little Mermaid and your son a crab.

A friend of mine always has her children dress up together. Here are a few of her ideas:

Ragedy Ann & Andy
Peter Pan & Tinkerbell
Clowns
She has 3 kids so one year she did Happy Days

I had mine dress as Pebbles and Bam Bam off of the flintstones one year. I had my mom make the costumes. they were really cute together.

Don't know if she's into princesses, but if so, she could be a princess and he could be a frog prince. There may be a frog costume at BabiesR-Us, or you could probably make one with a green onesie or pj's, and just make little flippers for the hands/feet. Maybe a little hat w/google eyes and a crown on it? Have fun!

Hi, I found some great costumes on Ebay. you can search there for them and find way more than you could find going from store to store!

I was going to suggest Princess and Frog or Bo Peep and sheep but so many creative moms already mentioned it! I did find the Bo Peep and sheep costumes in the new catalog that just came out from Sensible Beginnings... just in case you need a place to purchase...
