So what is your child being for Halloween this year? Are there any parents who dress up a little with there kids? I got my son an adorable scarecrow outfit and I'm thinking about getting a funny wig to wear that day or something. Halloween is so much better when you have a little one!

What can I do next?

My 8 month old has this big fat circle head, I think we're going to make him Charlie Brown, LOL!! My 6 year old daughter wants to be a zombie, and my 5 year old daughter wants to be a princess... night and day, those two ;) I always dress up for Halloween!! Last year I was prego, so I made my own costume... plain black skintight pants and shirt which I painted a skeleton on, and made a baby skeleton on my belly. This year... who knows. Last year my BF was Elmo, but it was somehow more creepy than cute, LOL!!

Halloween is huge in our house. We have a big party and my 3 kids and hubby and i all dress up. Why stop at a wig. If your little one is a scare crow, dress up like Dorothy! Have tons of fun!

My son wants to be a UPS driver ?? hehe. He has a "gator" car and we are going to box it up with cardboard and make it look like a UPS delivery truck!

My daughter... well, I don't think she has fully made up her mind but I think she wants to be Daphne from Scooby Doo.

Have fun!!!

I like familys that dress up as themes. I second the Wizard of Oz theme for your family. Too Cute. Dad could be the Tin Man and You could be the good witch. I have a couple of real mess makin lunatics, so, I'm going to make them Thing 1 and Thing 2 from Cat in the Hat - but I don't think I could be the Cat - just overworked, underpaid mom of Thing 1 & 2!

I always dress up; it's my favorite holiday! This year, I've got a new little baby girl, and I think we will be a Momma cat with her kitten. My older boys will probably want to be some sort of superhero. They have a hard time making up their minds sometimes. I want us all to go as cats, but I doubt I can get my almost-9-yr-old boy to agree to that, heh.

I'm into costumes that I can make cheaply. Since my son is really into Dora and Diego right now, I put the bug in his ear that he should be Diego. That will be an easy enough costume to put together. Maybe I could be Dora! I should try to find him a stuffed jaguar and me a stuffed monkey....

You should dress up like Dorothy, and carry a little basket w/a stuffed dog representing Toto. You are so right, Halloween IS tons better when you have kids!

Im with the Wiz of Oz theme - that would be awesome - my daughter and I did that two years ago. I couldnt get her out of her red shoes and with her long dark hair being dorothy was easy - and I went as the wicked witch!
this year she wants to be Alice in Wonderland - so I will probably go as the Queen of Hearts or the mad hatter or something along that line.
Halloween is so much fun -
When my daughter was two she went as Pebbles and her cousin Michael (who is a blonde) went as bam bam!!!! They we so cute together! Another year they went as Spiderman and Super Girl!
Have fun with it - do more than just a wig!

We usually dress up as a family and the same theme but I noticed now when they get older they do not want to do that and mine are only 3 and 4 but the first time they pick their costume-last yr we did the wizard of oz I was big dorothy my dd was small dorothy my son was the tin man and my hubby was lion. This year my d is Daphne and my son spiderman so we still have to get our costumes, but dress up it is fun! L.

This year my daughter is going to be Pebbles Flintstone and I'm going to be Wilma. We try to do something that works together now that we're a family and I've always dressed up every year for my daycare kids.

I did a scarecrow with my boys... I even dressed up with them! We always do (though the husband is less than enthused)

My daughter wants to be Jessie from Toy Story. I'm making my husband a new pirate coat and it will probably (hopefully!) be ready for halloween. I'm not sure what I'll dress up as, but usually we all dress up, although not with a theme.

I don't know how dressed up your going for. If its simple I would put a crow in my hair. I bet etsy would have something cool. Or get a hair band and add black feathers (again look at etsy for insperation). either paint a beak or buy/make one. and wear all black. happy trick or treating.
