Half Price Wed. at the Zoo??

I did not know about 1/2 price Wednesday. We took our 2 year old & 4 month old last Friday. It was not crowded at all (we just went for the afternoon.) His favorite part was the train ride. There's a coupon online for $1 off per admission. 2 & under are free.

We have gone on half price Wednesday.....usually there are school field trips there during the school year too. It was still fine though.

We made the mistake of going during spring break and I didn't know that it was half price day, so to say it was crowded is an understatement. The police had the exit blocked off to get to the zoo(we thought there was an accident) so we went around yeah no it was blocked off because the zoo parking lots were full and there was no parking anywhere unless we wanted to walk a ways. So needless to say we ended up turning around and going back home! Kids were not too happy. Lesson learned don't go when schools out and it's half price day :)

We went the last Wed in Aug and it was fine!
