I was also going to recommend the Styling Hutch in Plano for the Ouidad cut....omg, it's awesome! I had my first one (from Dee) in May and my hair was bouncy and curly and great afterwards (very naturally curly but I had been straightening it for the last couple of years). But they are expensive ($105 a pop). I'll go 2-3 times a year for that and in between I'll go to Pam at Bliss hair salon in Terrell (quick trip down 205, takes me 15 minutes to get there from Rockwall). She's the owner and she'll sit and ask you a bunch of questions about your hair the first time you go in. She's really good and CHEAP. $25-30 for a cut but you have to have cash or check- no credit cards. Good luck, it's hard when you have curly hair!

I go to Studio 360 in Rowlett. They are awesome! My hair is very thick and poofy and she manages to tame it. I go every month just to upkeep it, but I like it short. There number is ###-###-####. They are located across from Tom Thumbs on 66. You should call for better directions or find them in the yellow pages. I am not that great with directions. They have resonable prices as well.

I know you said you want something around here (I live in Rockwall too) but if you don't find anything here that you like, look at www.stylinghutch.com. It's in Plano, corner of Legacy & Coit. My daughter has very curly long hair. They specialize in "naturally curly hair" and I will not take her anywhere else. It is a special Ouidad cut and they also sell the Ouidad products. But we just use the regular Redken Smooth Down line for the shampoo & conditioner. I know you don't mess around w/curly hair...we have learned the hard way the proper way to take care of her hair! Kris Brooks is the stylist we use. Good luck! Oh, and we only have to go about every 3 months for the cut. Do some research on Ouidad....the products are fantastic...we use the climate control & deep conditioning.
