Hair cut and color for me is $70. She knows how to layer my curls and she really listens to what I ask for. Everyone in my office goes to her, thanks to a co-worker that found her. She is worth the drive to Fox Lake because she is available for appointments when I need them (evenings and weekends).

Nikki @ Studio 21 in Gurnee (Washington and Milwaukee)... I started going to her when I got married 4 years ago and have been with her ever since. Women's haircuts with her start at $50 but she is worth every dime.

I've taught one of her children and many kids/parents from my school go to her. She does a really nice job.

Mario Triccoci has a hair school in Libertyville that offers inexpensive cuts and color. ...it usually takes a lot longer than it would at a regular salon with someone who's done it a million times, but you do save a lot.

One more, Lori Friend in Libertyville has her own salon on 137 (Peterson). She's very reasonably priced and does cut and color. Also, I go to Lindsay at Touche in Libertyville for cuts (she doesn't do color). She gives me a great cut every time and charges only $35 I believe.

Hi there. I go to a woman who does hair out of her house in Antioch. She converted one of her bedrooms into a studio - with a wash bowl, mirrors, flat screen TV and everything. She is the sweetest person and so reasonable. Full foil highlights (and more than one color if you want) are $40. Haircuts are $20. Kids are $5. She also does waxing, nails, etc.
