I would recommend you try Eclektica Salon at Briarcliff. I only know one stylist there but she's really great. The place is very relaxing too. Alison Decuir is the stylist I'd say to use. If you book an appointment with her tell her L. E says Hi! The salon address is:

I go to a wonderful salon by the name of ALL ABOUT YOU. Their # is ###-###-####. Address is 5416 N. Antioch. My beautician is Petra, but i have had the 2 girls named missy do my hair also. They are all really great and I have found that they really aren't that expensive. They have everything their, even nails!!

you know, I forgot the name of it but straight east on barry from zona rosa on the south side of the street in a little strip just past hyvee there is a great place. Its like a strip of four or five businesses and I want to say the signs are all black and white, the salon is like the second or third from the east end of the strip. If you go east on barry and look south you'll see it before you get to waukomis. Good Luck!

I too am a stay at home mom, 38, and I have a 1 1/2 and 4 yr old.
I live near Parkville and I found a woman in the Tuilleries shopping center at Beauty Mart. That shopping center is just West of I-29 on 64th St. (past the Hen House shopping center) The Beauty Mart is in the back of the shopping center.
The woman I go to is Jonie (pron. Johnny). She is very professional, reliable and I love how she cut my hair. She is just the cutest, sweetest little gal and very down to earth but yet she is on the cutting edge too! Great find!
Good luck, I know finding someone to cut and style your hair can be frustrating. I am sure you will get some other good suggestions, too.
